Two-Day Personalized Retreats
Personalized retreats are designed to assist you through life changes and transitions—significant times of personal and spiritual growth. If you’d like a deep dive with Julie over a shorter period of time, she is offering two-day or longer sessions (four hours/day) combining multiple resources and methods in which she is practiced. This is a time of deep listening to the wisdom you possess and the guidance your soul provides. Julie is here to facilitate, to walk with you and bear witness. Day One begins with a BodyTalk session, then three hours of coaching and practices to initiate awareness and movement (clearing what’s “stuck”). Day Two includes more practices and coaching to anchor in the new awareness and determine your next steps and will end with qi gong—a highly calming, relaxing, restorative session .
Personalized retreats will be designed with your unique priorities in mind. You will leave with some simple, effective ways to stay centered in your body and being, work with your thoughts and practice tuning in to your inner guidance going forward. Time to rest, reflect and just be in nature to integrate your experience is highly recommended. Durango is a wonderful place to support you during your personal retreat with our beautiful mountains, rivers, lakes and hot springs and an abundance of excellent massage and healing arts practitioners. Current classes: Durango Conscious Dance Outside/Inside
Classes will resume in 2024. $15-$20. Durango Conscious Dance Outside/Inside classes are generally held once monthly either inside the Smiley Building in Studio 15 or outside (with headphones, “silent disco” style) on the big back lawn of the Smiley Building (1390 E 3rd Ave). Dates, times and locations are subject to change. For outside dances, class size is limited to fifteen and is first come, first served. Julie’s particular practice is Soul Motion® —a conscious dance practice where we experience being in our bodies, in the moment and bringing conscious awareness to our inner state of being-- what is arising and moving in us, through us and between us and others.
